Just as of this moment, I’ve decided to quit my job. I work for a company that binds people to a 5yrs contract in which they would have to pay $10.29/GJ for their natural gas. For those who don’t know, Terasen buys gas from the open market on a monthly basis. Now the fluctuation in the stock market affects the price of natural gas, meaning if the price goes up or down the cost of gas goes with its flow. Gas users are now paying roughly around $7.50/GJ, which is almost $3 less than what the contract offers. If natural gas goes down more than it goes up, then those who are under the contract would be losing money. Now what pushed me to quit? well…yesterday I signed a sweet sweet old lady to a contract. She lives on her own, has a dog named Buttons and is scared that one day she would be put to a nursing home. She was so excited about the whole thing because she thought she was signing to save money, but she really had no idea of how the whole thing works. The script that i was given to say sugar coats whats really going on I personally believe that gas price will continue to decrease. I feel like Im tricking people to pay more than they should, and that is not in my character (for those who knows me would know). The job pays really well and there’s bigger opportunities in the long run. But as a person of certain morals and beliefs I cant feel good about these benefits knowing of how i got them. Money means shit all to me when I know that Im tricking/betraying a fellow human being.
for all the cheese balls and cheese curls. its cheezy but GREASEy
I first found out about this guy from Acclaim magazine. How he went about the interview was too damn hilarious. So I said, “alright alright, let me see what this guy is about.” Watching clips of his standups is now part of my morning routine.
this is just one of many great poetries from Def Poetry Jam.

So buddy Chris over here who’s from Winnipeg posted up an auction on ebay for “thehundredsishuge.com” for a ridiculous amount, but was willing to trade the domain with the founders of The Hundreds for an interview. You get the scheme? Did he get his wishes? Gawd damn right he did. Chris got flown to LA to sit down with the top dawgs of the bizz. Shit is so inspiring to be a go get er’ in the wisest and most creative ways possible. Chris, hands down you the man!!!!
